Launched in Spring 2010 RIAS Quarterly, the new member journal of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, is produced for and sent directly to every RIAS member.
Published every three months RIAS Quarterly profiles the best of Scottish architecture and includes a rich mix of professional and technical news, interviews and features, with contributions from RIAS members and international architects
Spring 2010
Highlights of the Spring 2010 issue, which was distributed in April, include information on the shortlists for the RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award 2009 and the RIBA Awards 2010 and interviews with Bob Steedman, FRIAS and Karen Anderson ARIAS, the new Chair of A+DS and an article on Fellowship by our latest Honorary Fellow Ian Ritchie.
Summer 2010
The summer 2010 issue was distributed in early July and included a cover profile of the global award-winning lighting designers Speirs and Major, a preview of projects in Scotland's Housing Expo, images and plans of the 2010 Scottish RIBA Award Winners and an in depth feature on urban architecture by David Mackay Hon FRIAS of MBM and a preview of a new RIAS publication on Matt Steele - Scotland's 'undiscovered architect genius' .
RIAS Quarterly is a 116 page, full colour, perfect bound magazine and retails for £10 per issue. Discounted copies (£5 each) including back copies can be purchased from the RIAS online bookshop - more info
Advertising
RIAS Quarterly has a circulation of 5,000. It is the only publication which is distributed directly to all 4,000 RIAS members.
It is also distrubuted to a further 1,000 key individuals, poiticans and opinion formers.
